One of these plants I paid 15 bucks for and my husband teases me about it and said it better grow gold, the other one my neighbor brought by and said she has no idea what it is but I think it get purple flowers on it.

Looks like Rodgersia aesculifolia... which doesn't have purple flowers, however.

what is wrong with Roger? One minute it was gorgeous green now it looks like this. Whats going on?

Have you been watering in the evenings? Or even if you are watering in the mornings if a lot of water hits the soil and splashes up on to the leaves they can get fungal problems--it's best to water in the AM and be careful about the splashing. Could be something else causing problems too, but in warm humid climates that's a pretty common thing that can happen to some plants.

I have a sprinkler that I water my gardens with. So I should maybe move the plant and just hand water? Is there anything I can do to bring the leaves back to the healthy green?
