This plant is growing in my garden and I have no idea what it is. Each stalk grows to about 5' and has a beautiful bloom. The tip of each leaf form a small vine which wraps around adjacent plants for support.
Thanks!

I totally agree. Have been growing them for many, many years, and have blooms off and on all year 'round. This is zone 9a. Frost will make them drop back, but they come right back. I never dig them, they just spread on their own.

Oh how fortunate you are, MotherNature!
I grow mine in containers and bring them in each Fall...
Then they wait till the next summer and grow like the dickens!!!

Hi Audrey, I don't know if I can find any since they travel around under ground, but if I do, will mail you some in the spring. Audrey

Growing them in containers like Garden Guy, is the best way to keep up with the little travelers.

They form a very large sideways (elongated) tuber.. Mine get killed back each winter, but come back better then ever.

Here in Australia they are classed as a weed, what a pity!
