Is this an auction?Not at this time. There will be no bidding. All prices are fixed. We may add an optional bidding system at some point in the future.Can I sort the items listed for sale?Not at this point. As the Marketplace grows, more sorting, searching and browsing options will be added. In the meantime, you can search for words by holding down your Ctrl key, and pressing your F key on your keyboard to open up a quick word search text box.What are the payment options?The payment options are up to the seller. They may include PayPal, credit card or personal check/money order. If the payment choices are not indicated within the item's description, you may contact the seller (before you buy) to find out what types of payment he/she will accept. What are the shipping costs?Sellers usually specifies the estimated shipping costs within the item's description. If you are unsure about the shipping costs, yu should contact the seller before you buy. Note: The DG Marketplace rules prohibit sellers from offering items at artificially low prices and "gouging" on shipping costs in order to circumvent the sales fees. If you believe a seller is engaging in this practice, please contact us with the item number.
How do I contact a seller?Look for the "Send seller a D-Mail" link at the right side of the item description.Can I see the other items offered by a seller?Yes! Just look for the "View other products by ..." link at the right side of the item description.What plants are legal to ship to my state?Shipping live plants across state and country lines involves regulations and rules. Sellers should be aware of those rules and the substantial penalties that may be assessed for failing to comply with them. The rules vary by state; here are links to each state's contact information. It is ultimately the buyer's responsibility to know what is appropriate and legal to introduce to your garden. For easy reference regarding U.S. laws, here is a link to the National Plant Board's laws and regulations governing each state's requirements. What if I change my mind after I buy an item?You should contact the seller immediately if you cannot finish your transaction. The seller pays a fee for their finished listings, so they need to go through a process to cancel the sale and get their fee back. Please be considerate and be sure you can fulfill your obligation to the seller before you buy an item!Is my name and address secure?Yes! The seller will be given your name and address in order to ship your items to you. No one else will see it.
